Join the Kosciusko Community YMCA for our 9th Annual Good Friday Breakfast, a morning of reflection, fellowship, and inspiration. This meaningful event will take place on Friday, April 18th, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Christ’s Covenant Church (2090 E Pierceton Rd, Winona Lake, IN 46590).
Start your day with a delicious breakfast while gathering with members of our community to hear an uplifting message that sets the tone for Easter weekend. Whether you come as an individual or with a group, this event is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and be encouraged.
Michelle and Steve have been married for 35 years and are proud parents of four children and grandparents to three. Their family has a strong legacy of service, with two sons having served in the United States Air Force and Navy, and their eldest son currently serving as a Physical Therapist in the Army’s elite Ranger Regiment. Their youngest daughter works as a revenue analyst for American Airlines.
Michelle, a North Dallas native, attended Texas A&M and Texas Tech University, earning degrees in Community Health and Physical Therapy. After 33 years running a Pediatric PT and OT practice, she retired to focus on their 110-acre farm, Big Holly Farm, which is home to goats, chickens, bees, and lavender fields. She enjoys traveling, yoga, circuit training, and gardening.
Steve, originally from Canada, moved to Texas as a child and attended Texas A&M, where he met Michelle. He served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force flying the F-15E Strike Eagle before transitioning to a 25-year career with American Airlines, where he is now a Captain on the A320. He loves traveling, working on farm projects, and driving his tractor.
As speakers for the 2025 Good Friday Breakfast, Michelle and Steve will share a powerful message of faith and resilience. John 14:1 says, “Let not your hearts be troubled.” They want their listeners to know that even in the darkest moments of life, God shows up in the most personal and compelling ways. Having faced one of their worst nightmares, they have witnessed firsthand that when you truly know Him, life will not only be okay, but He will supply all you need in abundance.

The YMCA is inviting local individuals and businesses to sponsor tables for the Good Friday Breakfast. A $500 table sponsorship includes 8 reserved seats and ensures that all sponsors receive special recognition and gratitude during the event. Your support helps us provide a high-quality breakfast, bring in inspiring speakers, and make this event accessible to our community by offering free tickets to individuals.
